Famous baby

Today, Benton was a TV star.

ESPN's College GameDay was in Atlanta for the SEC/ACC kick-off game between LSU and North Carolina. They were filming in Centennial Park which is less than a mile from our apartment. Since I have a huge crush on Kirk Herbstreit we are big fans of the show, we decided to walk down to see the action.

We were able to squeeze our way in to a camera shot and Brack hoisted Benton above the crowd. Among a sea of purple and Carolina blue, our baby boy's Georgia Bulldog shirt glistened in the sun. Everyone cheered (let's pretend it was for the Bento Box and not the camera) and Benton cried his baby head off.

But, he made it in the shot. And we got it on TiVo. I am not technically advanced enough to figure out how to post a clip, so you'll have to take my word for it. Or come to our house and watch the clip for yourself since we're never going to delete it. It was an amazing morning and a perfect start to Benton's first college football season.

Move over, Corso. This kid is going to make it.

  1. If my future son-in-law is famous, that should mean Madelyn will one day be famous too. Right?
