Baby sister

It's a girl! Benton became a big brother on Saturday, June 23. We are thrilled (and very surprised!) to welcome our daughter, Parker Naomi. She was born in the water at 4:30 AM at 7 lbs. 9 oz. and 20 inches.

Benton is taking very well to his big brother status. He's already great at giving baby Parker kisses, reading her books, telling her all about the Braves and bringing her new diapers.

We'll post more soon. In the meantime, it looks like I have to come up with a new name for the blog. Suggestions are welcome.

Bible lesson

This Sunday, Brack and I taught the preschool class at church. The kids are learning about Creation and this week they learned a new Bible verse. We passed the lesson on to Benton at home.

Translation: "You made the world and everything in it." Psalm 89:11

The Chop

We take the tomahawk chop pretty seriously around here. Whether we're in our living room or at Turner Field.
