Wanted to share some pictures our talented friend Grace took of Benton. She's headed to Hawaii next week to start training to use her amazing gift of photography on the mission field.

Lazy Sunday

There are no creative or witty comments available from me or Brack today. We're wiped out from a busy weekend. But I did want to share some recent Benton happenings with you, so here goes.

We've been taking Benton's picture each week since he was born. Our plan is to put them in a book to document his first year. As he's been getting older, it's becoming more challenging to get the little snot to cooperate. This week, I took a quick video of our attempt to get a decent picture of him. It's a team effort.

New baby tricks

We find ourselves laughing a lot as we watch Benton learn new things. He sure is entertaining. 

He figured out how to protect his bare knees from the metal edging in the bathroom doorway. Nothing can stop him from getting to his bath!

One of his new favorite tricks is climbing into things. Seen here: cabinets, toy bins, racetracks.

The training program for walking has begun. Benton visited his Granny in Rome this weekend and got a new push toy to practice. Daddy will have him walking in no time. 

We're just a few weeks away from a birthday. It doesn't seem real--babies don't have birthdays. But I guess giant babies do.
